The President, BSMCH Reunion 2013 humbly Speaks

Dear friends & Medicos –

Yes, the seed which were sowed by Bankura  Sammilani Trust ( registered in the year 1919 by  Justice Digambar  Chatterjee, Rishindra Nath Sovalav, Ramananda  Chatterjee, Rishibar  Mukherjee, Bholanath  banerjee, Hemanta Kumar Raha, Bamacharan Roy, Krishna Chandra Roy, Bijoy Kumar Chatterjee, Probodh  Chandra Roy, Bhola Nath Koley, Pramatha Nath Palit, Kiran Chandra Chandra Neogi, followed by the untiring selfless services of Dr. Jogesh Chandra Banerjee, Dr. Anath Bandhu Roy, Dr. Chinmoy Ghosh, Kalidas Roy, Lt. Col. B.N.hazra, Dr. Durgadas Gupta, Dr. N.B.mandal, Dr. Kshudiram Dey, Dr. L.N.Das, Kanai Lal De, S.S.Mukherjee, Prof. S.N.Sengupta and many others ) as Bankura  Sammilani  Medical  School in the year 1922 turned out as  Bankura  Sammilani  Medical  College and Hospital in the year 1956 with nearly 1500 bedded Hospital with all the Departments of medical updated facilities including the Post Graduate teaching facilities along with modern catering to the need of this vast areas. We have not seen the bud but we have seen the vast tree with all its division and sub-divisions.

Sitting under that vast tree in the midst of extreme  delight , great excitement and overwhelm joys & enthusiasm I welcome you all to this august gathering of the Alumni of B.S.M.C in this peaceful  atmosphere .

The Scientific  Committee will painstakingly chose topics of relevance and I hope will be able to rope in distinguished Speakers, so that the Scientific feast laid out for the delegates would be of high order and at the same time useful in day to day practice.

Alongside the association meetings, cultural events, Scientific feasts, enjoyable get –together , arrangements are being made by the members of the Organizing  Committees to ensure that the participants enjoy to the fullest extent the hospitality of the host , the B.S.M.C  reunion  Committee.

Come , enjoy the hospitality and take back with you sweet memories of your visit to your Alma Matter along with the commemorating  colorful Souvenir  and rejuvenate yourself leaving behind the bitter experience if any for us , the Organizing Committee . Be Nostalgic.

We are extremely pleased to announce that B.S.M.C Ex- Students Re-Union Committee, under the auspices of B.S.M.C Ex-student Association , is going to organize  the  RE-UNION OF EX-STUDENTS OF B.S.MEDICAL SCHOOL  & COLLEGE  and  THE STUDENTS OF B.S.MEDICAL COLLEGE  at the Auditorium, B.S.Medical College, Bankura, on 22^nd & 23^rd. January’2013 as per scheduled times.

We are expecting 1000 delegates from all over the State, Outside the State and abroad.

he programme include colorful  inauguration, Scientific feasts, Get-together, Meeting  etc.

Exhibition stalls &  attractive Banners will be displayed.

A commemorative colourful attractive Souvenir will be published on that occasion.
